2024 Camp JCC - Specialty Camps

At Camp JCC, our goal is to create an exciting environment in which campers have the opportunity to learn new skills, cooperation and teamwork, while forging friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. All are welcomed at Camp JCC; JOIN US!

About Camp: 

• Camp Hours: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

• Camp is full day, only. Before & after camp care is available (prices per child). 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. - $50/week 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. - $50/week Before & After Care - $90/week

• Campers must pick Group A or B.

• Campers are broken up into age groups 5-7 & 8-12 and will rotate between the two activities.

• Lunch is at noon. Campers must provide their own, bagged lunch.

• Camp Tuition $220 Non- Members $180 JCC Members

Week 1 August 19-23, 2024
Group A: 

• Nature Explorers: Hiking, and animals, and plants, oh my! Explore nature through visits to various local parks and nature preserves. Campers will take part in various crafts projects, while discovering nature on and off the JCC campus.

• Once Upon a Time Discover the power of storytelling! Campers will have the chance to create their own fantasy world, play improvisation games with their new characters, and write and illustrate their very own story book.

Group B:

• Nothing but Nets - Sports & Games All games net - Soccer, pickleball, tennis, basketball, street hockey & more! Whether a first-time player or long-time champ, we are here to amp up your skills and cheer you on!

• Dip n’ Dive Swim Camp Whatever your swim level, be it Starfish to Sharks or Sea Slugs to Dolphins, a love of the water is all that’s required. Take part in water activities in and out of the pool to improve your skills while having a blast!

Week 2 August 26-30, 2024
Group A: 

• Weird Science Experience the wacky world of all things science! We will do experiments, play science games, and explore the weird world of science. Campers will have the chance to create various science projects like lava lamps, bottles rockets, and more!

• Adventures in Art Create art using various mediums inspired by adventures to nature preserves and parks on and off the JCC campus.

Group B:

• Dip n’ Dive Swim Camp Whatever your swim level, be it Starfish to Sharks or Sea Slugs to Dolphins, a love of the water is all that’s required. Take part in water activities in and out of the pool to improve your skills while having a blast!
  
  

• Fun & Games Campers work together to solve problems and complete fun challenges! Teams will be given unique prompts and use their own creativity to find a solution.
