Caty Flagg
Coordinator, Fitness + Personal Trainer
Caty is the Fitness Coordinator at the JCC, dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where members can achieve their health and wellness goals. She oversees the fitness center and staff, ensuring attendants are equipped to assist members with their needs. In addition to her coordinator role, Caty is an ISSA-Certified Personal Trainer, ready to help individuals reach their fitness goals, regardless of experience.
Before moving to Binghamton to further her education, Caty was the Fitness Coordinator at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. She holds a B.S. in Exercise and Health Sciences from UMass Boston and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Binghamton University. An accomplished athlete, she played four years of NCAA Division III ice hockey and two years of NCAA Division III softball before going on to play two seasons of professional ice hockey in the NWHL/PHF in Buffalo, NY. Alongside her athletic career, she worked as a personal trainer, gaining extensive experience in helping clients of all backgrounds reach their fitness potential.
